Re: WX command : what means "reboot -disk" ?

Hi,

I would like to know if you are talking about WXOS ? which version is this ? In the latest version I see only following options with reboot :

 reboot
-safe-mode           - Reboot device in safe mode
-no-resync           - Clear dictionary on reboot (WXC devices only)
-all                 - Reboot server and all clients (WX100 only)
-client-id           - Client id number for WX100 device (0 for all)

Please let me know where did you get this command from ? and for which device ?

Re: WX command : what means "reboot -disk" ?

Hi Humid,

I have gone through all the adman guide from 5.2.0 to 5.7 but I could not find this command "reboot-disk". May you please give me the snap shot where you see this command. Or you can also open a case with JTAC if you it is related to some technical issue.

Re: WX command : what means "reboot -disk" ?

Hi,

Using the version 5.4.9.0 , and CLI mode , when you tape "reboot -?" , you can see the below outpout :

 WX# reboot  -?

-bios    -floppy    -disk  -safe-mode

-no-resync      -all   -client-id

WX#

Thanks in advance.

Re: WX command : what means "reboot -disk" ?

Hi Hamid,

I think that would be a instruct WX to boot this box from specific location. If it is WX-20 Certainly it won't have Disk in it but option is available for the device which coming with the Disk like WXC-100, WXC 250.

I will verify it and let you know.
