Having some issues with SNMP on the ISM modules for the J's. The ISM not responding to SNMP gets, it pops back a ICMP port unreachable and no traps are sent either. Syslog works like a charm, and I am running :-
Software version: 18.104.22.168
Model No.: ISM-200-WXC - v1.0
config snmp set snmp on
config snmp set read-community "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
config snmp set write-community "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
config snmp set trap on
config snmp traps add destination 10.xx.xx.xx community "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
config snmp set auth-failure-trap off
Looks simple enough?

Sorry for the delay. This one just slipped through my radar.
SNMP walk is not supported on the ISM as they are not separate entities. You will have to do the MIB walk on the J-Series router, which works perfectly fine.
It is kind of confusing why the SNMP option is even there in the GUI.
Let me know if that helps.

Yes. That is correct.
