We're having another J-Net promotion to thank you for all your support and encourage participation. From now till October 31, 2009, everyone who registers for a free J-Net account will be entered into a drawing to win an Asus EEE C Netbook computer, a 32GB Apple iPod Touch, or a Creative Labs Vado HD Pocket Video Camcorder*.






Already a registered J-Net member? Refer a friend and if that person registers, you'll be entered into the drawing.


Why should you register? Other than the chance to win these great prizes, you will be able to post in the community forums after you register. You will also be able to subscribe to content via RSS, email, and customize the user interface when you are logged in. In addition, there are regular promotions and events in the community opened to registered users only.


Here's what you need to do to enter the drawing:


   1. If you haven't joined J-Net, register for a free account. Remember, you must complete the registration process by signing into J-Net after registration and picking an user ID.

   2. If you're already a registered user, refer a colleague or friend to J-Net. Your friend must register for a new J-Net account during the contest period and pick an user ID.

   3. Leave a comment on this blog article, say hello and introduce yourself.

   4. Email the following information to by October 31, 2009:

  • Your J-Net username
  • Your full name and mailing address.
  • If you're a new user, send us your registration date
  • If you're an existing user who referred a friend, send us your friend's J-Net username, full name, company name, and email address.


That's it! So jump in, add your voice, share your knowledge, and have some fun.

I'm Chema, from Spain. I have told a lot of friends about Junipers, FastTrack and J-net forums... Even some of them gained JNCIA and JNICIS certifications.


Hope they learn as much as I did.

I'm a network engineer with 3 years experiences .It's the first time to learn about the JUNOS software .There is WX devices in our company and laterly it brings two SSG 550M devices .The Fact Track Program is the way that has gives me the access into the Juniper world and JUNOS software , and it will make me certified of several Juniper certifications.No program is like that and it's the advantage unique for the Juniper.Finalyy, I'd like to say thank you Juniper for this huge promotion and continue in your path and with time many and many will join you in your journy.It's your time Juniper with us or without

  • Hiroaki Kato is a Senior Director of Systems Engineering at Juniper Networks and is responsible for managing the Systems Engineering organization in Japan. Before he joined Juniper Networks, Kato served as Japan Country Manager for Red Bend Software. Kato was responsible for overall business operation of Red Bend Software Japan K.K and grew the business in Japan further in mobile and into other industries. Prior to Red Bend, he was with Avaya Japan Ltd. During his time at Avaya Japan, the roles he took include overall operation of Avaya Japan as its Representative Director, Director of Solutions and Engineering and number of other leadership roles in strategy creation and business development. He also spent time at Avaya’s headquarters in New Jersey, USA, working as strategy and operations prime for one of the Avaya’s business units as well as some leadership role for global sales operations organization. Prior to Avaya, he served as the Unit Manager of Telecommunication Infrastructure Business Unit of Mitsubishi Corporation’s Information Systems and Services Group, providing carrier grade telephony systems and associated support to major telecom carriers in Japan.
