  • 1.  Cisco SFP ( GLC-SX-MM) can be used with EX2200 Juniper Switch

    please, Can you help to me for know if  the SFP Cisco ( GLC-SX-MM) can  be installed in the EX2200 Switch  and can work good?

     

    Do you have any documentation with this?

    Hi,

     

    I can't tell about about that specific GBIC but have seen different Cisco and HP ProCurve GBICs working very well in Juniper equipment, in particular with EX 2200 switches.

     

    Please note, that Juniper tolerates the use of 3rd party GBICs (i.e. it doesn't block use of non Juniper parts) but does not support them. If you experience problems and call JTAC, they could request you to swap them with Juniper equipment and reproduce the problem.

    So long as Juniper is part of the MSA (Multi Source Agreement), I don't see why they would not work.

    I have test with GLC-LH-SM and GLC-T on juniper EX3300 with Cisco WS-2960 its working

    but with GLC-SX-MM its not working
