  • 1.  DCD_CONFIG_WRITE_FAILED

    Seeing the error below a fair bit on my EX4200 VC.

     

    DCD_CONFIG_WRITE_FAILED: Interface ge-0/0/4.0, configuration write failed for an IFF ADD: No such file or directory

    DCD_CONFIG_WRITE_FAILED: Interface ge-1/0/4.0, configuration write failed for an IFF ADD: No such file or directory

     

    Only ever for that interface....  there is a KB article about it but it just says log a case with JTAC pretty much....

     

    Will i have issues using that interface? 

    running 10.4R5.5

    Also can you check the speed setting on the interface and killing of the respective service on the juniper device.

    That link does not really apply i don't think.  These ports are not in an aggregated ethernet config.

     

    I tried to connect a server to these ports last night, the interfaces comes up but no traffic passes and no MACs where learned on those ports.

     

    I have shutdown the ports but the errors still occure even with the ports shutdown.

    Think i willl JTAC this one

    Would you be able to upgrade to the JTAC recommended version?
