    What does this display message mean, where the switch host name should apper, it is in front of it

     

    Masking the right part of the host name

     

    00:BK CORPSW-FL2

     

    IT should appear like below, which it does on several other switches in house.

     

    CORPSW-FL2-13

    That is virtual chassis specific information.  00 stands for member 0 of the virtual chassis and BK stands for backup routing engine in the event that the master routing engine (RE) fails. The master routing engine would have RE with a different number in front of it depending on which member of the VC is the master. All other devices would have LC if there are more than 2 members in the chassis. Hope that helps.
