  • 1.  EX2200 MVRP on copper trunk interface

    HI,

     

    I have configured MVRP on copper trunk port interface but i unable to get vlan information on trunk port. As well i am not able to see vlan information on my second switch trunk port.

    Is there any limition for MVRP on copper trunk?

    MVRP work on SFP/SFP+ port only?

    I'm not aware of such limitation.

     

    Can you try with the same device but using a copper port?

     

    My feeling is that you either have some sort of configuration issue or you might have hit a software defect.

     

    In case MRVP works on copper ports using the same configuration, then you should head to opening a JTAC case.

    Hi,

     

    I got answer, After configured MVRP on trunk interfarce, we will get dynamic vlan info only on trunk interface not  on access port. Confirmed by JTAC.

    MVRP not work like as VTP.....Smiley Sad
