  • 1.  EX3200 - Routing-Instances ?

    Posted 05-30-2015 06:28

After upgrading EX3200 to version 14.1X53-D25.2 the switch says that the router is divided in many virtual routers used by different teams.

There is no such configuration and no code under routing-instances within the configuration. How to get rid of this ?

    --- JUNOS 14.1X53-D25.2 built 2015-04-01 01:53:36 UTC

NOTE:  This router is divided into many virtual routers used by different teams.  Please only configure your own virtual router.

You must use 'configure private' to configure this router.

That is interesting. I upgraded one EX3200 to the same release, but I didn't see this message.

Although the motd should come before you get the software release on the switch(the other way as you are seeing), is it possible that someone configured "set system login message" before the upgrade?

I'd suggest reload Junos or RMA the unit.

Wait, like a login banner? That's statically configured under 'system login' and might be the culprit.

if you dont have any login banners or login announcements configured like this , it can be a config sync issue . Please try the below.

    root@EX# commit force full
    OR
    root@EX# commit force
