    Hello,

     

    We have EX4200 with JUNOS 9.0R2.10

     

     

    show version
    Hostname: EX4200-2
    Model: ex4200-24t
    JUNOS Base OS boot [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Base OS Software Suite [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Kernel Software Suite [9.0R2.10]

    JUNOS Online Documentation [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Enterprise Software Suite [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Packet Forwarding Engine Enterprise Software Suite [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Routing Software Suite [9.0R2.10]
    JUNOS Web Management [9.0R2.10]

     

    Can I direct upgrade from 9.0R2.10 to JUNOS 9.5R1.8 ?

    Hi

     

    Yes you can.

     

    If you have an empty configuration and can work from scratch just go ahead with the no-validate keyworg it will do the job ...

     

    use the options:

    unlink no-validate no-copy

     

    If you have a complete config just read the warnings you have during installation, if there is an incompatibility it will just tell you and will not install.

    You will find in the release notes on page 131 that you should take care at some configuration statements (from 9.2 to 9.5 or from 9.4 to 9.5) so if you have a complete configuration you should use two steps : 9.0 to 9.2 and 9.2 to 9.5 taking care of the release notes advices.
