    Hello,

With the EX4600 appliance does the "request system snapshot slice alternate" only write to USB? With the EX4200 series the command writes to another partition on the switch. Does the EX4600 change the way this works? Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes, the command is no longer applicable to EX4600/QFX5100.

Thanks, is there a command that took it's place or does it automatically write to the backup partition?

EX4600 architecture (like QFX5100) has Junos running as a VM (KVM) for which there are dual images, so it is basically a VM move, versus any SW partitions.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I remember seeing the mention of KVM during the boot process of the switch after the OS upgrade.
