    Posted 06-19-2015 06:06

First time poster, hope I've got the right forum for this.

I've got SSH access to a QFX 5100. I'm following a knowledge centre article on how to enable the web management interface but I don't appear to have the same option available.

The article suggests using the following:

    # set system services web-management http

I get an error on tab complete for web-management:

    # set system services we

                                                   ^

    syntax error.

If I list the available options I get:

    # set system services ?

    Possible completions:

      <[Enter]>            Execute this command

+ apply-groups         Groups from which to inherit configuration data

+ apply-groups-except  Don't inherit configuration data from these groups

    > database-replication  Database replication configuration

    > dhcp-local-server    Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server configuration

    > finger               Allow finger requests from remote systems

    > ftp                  Allow FTP file transfers

    > netconf              Allow NETCONF connections

    > outbound-ssh         Initiate outbound SSH connection

    > resource-monitor     Resource monitor configuration

    > service-deployment   Configuration for Service Deployment (SDXD) management application

    > ssh                  Allow ssh access

    > subscriber-management  Subscriber management configuration

    > telnet               Allow telnet login

    > tftp-server          Allow TFTP file transfers in default routing instance

    > xnm-clear-text       Allow clear text-based JUNOScript connections

    > xnm-ssl              Allow SSL-based JUNOScript connections

      |                    Pipe through a command

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong here?

For reference this is the JUNOS version:

    JUNOS 13.2X51-D30.4 built 2014-11-27 11:45:49 UTC

    Thanks for your help.

    HI,

on the QFX 5100 the j-web interface is not supported, so you are unable to configure / enable it in the configuration.

    hope this explains it

Was there ever a software version that had the web interface enabled for the QFX5100's?
