  • 1.  Error upgrading software: truncated or corrupted package

    Hi,

     

    I am trying to update the software on an EX4200 switch chassis (2 switch). I have applied the software update jinstall-ex-9.3R4.4-domestic-signed.tgz via the web gui ok. since the chassis is not heavily utilised i did not bother updating the backup first just went ahead.

     

    Since this, I am having problems running the web gui, I am presuming since this requires update too. I login then it freezes.

     

    I have attempted to download, copy and run the file jweb-9.3R4.4-signed.tgz but when i run

     

    >request system software add validate /var/tmp/jweb-9.3R4.4-signed.tgz

     

    I get the following error

     

    Checking pending install on fpc1

    Checking pending install on fpc0
    Pushing bundle to fpc1

    Validating on fpc1
    truncated or corrupted package: /var/tmp/jweb-9.3R4.4-signed.tgz

     

     

    I have since tried to download again and it does not work.

     

    Please help
