Hi Guys,
I would like to know, how can I enable DHCP snooping MAC address verification in Juniper EX switch.
The feature is explained by Cisco in the link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/12-2SX/configuration/guide/book/snoodhcp.html#wp1141445
Regards,
Hello
We also have the same problem.
The problem is also discussed in topic http://forums.juniper.net/t5/Ethernet-Switching/DHCP-snnoping-verify-hardware-on-Juniper-EX-Switches/td-p/285095 . But no usable solution was proposed.
Sometimes DHCP snooping hardware verification is confused with ARP inspection. It is completely different than ARP inspection. It is a required feature in order to have a reliable DHCP based structure.
Many other vendors have this feature. Hope Juniper adds to Junos too.
