  • 1.  Ideal Temperature of CPU and chassis

     Hi,

     

    I am using ex 4200 switch.

    Please let me know what is the ideal Temperature of CPU and chassis.

    Also please let me know if its goes up then what would be the resolution process.

     

    Below is the show chassis env out put---

    This is basically the same question, and basically the same answer, as in the Firewall forum.

     

    Your equipment has thresholds for temperatures.

     

    Try a "show chassis temperature-thresholds" on your switch for more information.

     

    There's also some general troubleshooting information HERE that should be helpful.

     

    You should look into configuring alerts/alarms for fan failures via whatever monitoring methods you use.  SNMP, email alerts, etc.
