    This is from show pfe route ip output.
    Slot 0


    IPv4 Route Table 0, default.0, 0x0:
    Destination NH IP Addr Type NH ID Interface
    ------------ --------------- -------- ----- ---------

     

    224.0.1.60.128.174.32.22/64                       Indirect 131094 RT-ifl 76

     

     

    224.0.1.60.72.36.91.136/64                          Compst  1451 RT-ifl 79

     

    How do I interpret these 2 entries ? Also what does entry like 224.0.1.60.128.174.32.22/64     mean ?

    Hi,

     

    I believe that 224.0.1.X is a Multicast Address.

    224.0.1.60.128.174.32.22/64 is the route information for multicast group 224.0.1.60 coming from source ip 128.174.32.22.

    Charlie how can I find the next hop for such a indirect entry ?

    From the outpug below, 1451 is the id of next-hop.

     

    224.0.1.60.72.36.91.136/64                          Compst  1451 RT-ifl 79

     

    Command below will provide the information on next-hop id 1451.

     

    $ show pfe next-hop |match 1451
