  • 1.  MC-LAG down (QFX10K to EX4550)

    Hi

    I'm trying to setup MC-LAG port between two core QFX10008 switches to an access EX4550 switch.

    ICCP is up, other mc-lags to other access switches are up (QFX5100),

    i'm attaching configuration in a hope that someone will take a look and find what am I missing here

    Right, and how many ae's are on SW1 and SW2? Just wondering if you've gone over.

    In the config the ae at the SW45 end is ae45, are these different interfaces?

    Oh, sorry

    I'd forget mentioning I had recreated ae45, and it's now ae1405, all the configurations are the same on the QFX10K regarding the ae configs.

    On switch45 - it's still ae0

    Hi Smicker,

    Just wanted to let you know that this issue was resolved today.

    1. The issue concerned spanning tree configuration on the 4550 and the 10K 

    at this point the physical status went up

    and the show interfaces mc-ae indicated local iccp state as down.

     

    2. in addition, I had to change the High numbered mc-ae (45,1405,2405) to a value lower than what is configured on the chassis device-count.

    at this point the iccp synced with the peer device.

     

    I'd like to thank you for your efforts assisting me with this.
