    Hi

    Please read (perhaps you are using a lot of modules in phone):
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2087023

    It seems like you need more power.
    Have you try to force Class 4 statis negotiation? http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/junos/topics/task/configuration/poe-cli.html

    That is weird. Try setting a fixed amout and see if tat changes anything

    set  poe interface ge-0/0/11 maximum-power 30

    Maybe anable telemetries so e can get more info.

    What about the cable" Are you using the same cable that you tested it with the Cisco switch? SHould not be the problem but...

    Hey gang,

    I'm having the same issue here. I'm trying to connect a Cisco 9951 with camera and one CKEM on a ex2200-c-12p-2g. software version 12.3r3.4.

    The phone and camera will power up but the CKEM will not.

    We've tried multiple things but this is the latest status of poe for the port we have the phone plugged into.

    root@JimDesk> show poe interface ge-0/0/1
    PoE interface status:
    PoE interface : ge-0/0/1
    Administrative status : Enabled
    Operational status : ON
    Power limit on the interface : 0.1W (L)
    Priority : High (L)
    Power consumed : 7.0W*
    Class of power device : 4
    PoE Mode : 802.3at
    * Powered device is drawing more power than maximum power allowed on the port.
    (L) LLDP-negotiated value on the port.

    config:

    oot@JimDesk> show configuration poe
    interface VOIP {
    priority high;
    telemetries {
    interval 1;
    duration 1;

    and LLDP and LLDP-Med are enabled

    I have the same POE issue while connect to Aruba AP225 wireless APs.

    I have even tried to disable the lldp poe negotiation on the interface, but still its not providing enough power to the APs.

    > show poe interface ge-3/0/18

    Is it a softwar Bug?

    Anyone know what's the issue here?

    Please open a JTAC case for this.

    Did anyone get a result for this from JTAC?

    I have been experiencing the same issue on EX2200C-12P and EX2200-48P with Cisco 8961 phones.

    Phone usage is fine but as soon as you try hooking anything to it, they will fail to power.

    I currently have a few Cisco 8961 phones with the VXC2111 PCoIP backpacks on them and are not being powered by the switch. Phone will say that accessory is not power or something.

    In the switch, I get the following on "show poe interface:

    Interface    Admin       Oper    Max        Priority       Power          Class
                 status      status  power                     consumption
     ge-0/0/0    Enabled      ON     15.4W      Low            6.8W            3
     ge-0/0/1    Enabled      ON     15.4W      Low            4.2W            3
     ge-0/0/2    Enabled     OFF     15.4W      Low            0.0W           not-applicable
     ge-0/0/3    Enabled      ON     0.1W(L)    Low            5.2W*           4
     ge-0/0/4    Enabled      ON     0.1W(L)    Low            4.6W*           4

    The other phone models work fine but 8961s have max power of 0.1W(L).

    A solution to this would be great.

    Try using a cross-over cable.

    The 8961s Class 4 so Max power 30.0W usable range 12.95W through 25.5W
    You need PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) to support Class 4 powered devices. ca you verify that the model you have does support PoE+? run show chassis hardware  show poe controller show poe interface ge-0/0/4. Make all sure firmware is updated

    The switch is a EX2200-48P which supports PoE+ (class 4). I have other class 4 devices that are fine. Just the 8961. I dont believe it is a cross over issue but I can try. Below are my show outputs.

    After upgrade to newer POE firmware 4.1.6 in
    JUNOS 12.3R5.7, the issue was resolved

     I'm having similar problems with a 9951 with camera and 1 CKEM.

    Some times the accessories power and sometimes they don't. Usually a reboot of the switch fixes the problem but recently it hasn't. I'm going to open a case but wanted to add my experience to the conversation.

    Details:

    EX4200px

    junos version_12.3R6.6

    PoE firmware version_4.1.6

    Cisco 9951 firmware _9.4.2.13

    LLDP power negotiation is enabled on the switch and phone and lldp is set as the priority for poe.

    set protocols lldp interface Desktop-Staff power-negotiation

    set poe lldp-priority
    set poe interface all

    It started out that the phone would not power at all. Since then we discovered with the help of our SE's that lldp negatioation must be enabled and we needed to be running junos 12.3R4.6 or greated for this feature to work. + poe firmware must be 4.1.6.

    We have 9951's working without the CKEM but with the camera just fine, but the power negotiation on the phone must be disabled. With this configuraiton you can power them with a px or p series switch.

    I'll try and follow up when i find out more.
