My customer has already setted up a VC with 2 memebers in a defult configuration fashion.
Now they want to configure the VC in a pre-provisioned manner, and the question is: can we simply configure in [edit virtual-chassis] or do we need to reboot the VC too after the commit?
This shouldn't require reboot, but it might cause RE to jump to another switch. I would still do this within a maintenance window, just in case.
Triple-check serial numbers you put in the pre-provisioned configuration. Also, you may want enable split-brain detection after the 3rd switch is added, in case it had been previously disabled. GRES is also enabled, right?
