Does the 930 watt PS on the 4200 48 port POE have the ability to supply 15.4 watts to all 48 ports on its own or does it need the second PS to complete the job.
Does or has hte EX been tested for support on using the LLDP-MED function to provide the QoS and Voice VLAN tag to a Cisco IPTEL environment.
I can do LLDP-MED on a Procurve switch and it will happily provide plag and play as CDPv2 does for Cisco phones.
A single 930 PS will be able to supply 15.4 watts to all 48 ports. If a 2nd 930 PS is present, then it provides redundancy and the draw will be load-balanced between the two.
At release, EX supports LLDP-MED and should be able to communicate VLAN and 802.1P to compliant IPT end devices. This is currently being tested.
