Is RTG the best solution between data centre (DC) & head office to provide redundancy as we can't use STP within our network. Just putting up a question to see if anybody has come across any problems while doing this or is there a better solution.

Currently have 2 EX3200 switches at our DC with a single connection to head office. Looking at replacing these switches with 2 EX4200 switches & getting a 2nd connection via a different network carrier, will use a virtual-chassis & RTG configuration.
If the boxes on both ends are capable, an AE interface using LACP is a better way to go than an RTG in my opinion as it gives you double bandwidth during normal conditions, and still fails back to a single link. Ron
There will 2 EX4200's at both ends in a virtual-chassis config, so no problem doing AE with LACP. Was going down the AE path but I don't think you can do this because the sites are physically located in different places & the 2 links will be via different network carriers for redundancy purposes.
