For step-by-step verification that an interface on an EX device is up, go to KB22217 - Resolution Guides - EX - Troubleshoot/Verify Interface.

 

These Resolution Guides, created by JTAC, cover the following types of interfaces:

  • Physical Interface
  • VLAN Interface
  • Aggregated Ethernet Interface (LAG)

If the interface is not up, the guide will help you troubleshoot it.
