I'm getting these troubling messages in the log of a EX4200-24F switch
chas[663]: link 1 SFP receive power low warning set
chas[663]: link 1 SFP receive power low warning cleared
every hour or so. What does this mean, and how can I even find out with SFP it is?

"receive power low" means that the level of light being received is getting close to the minimum for operation. You may need a different sort of SFP if it is a long distance or you may have bad quality cables/connectors - or just too long a cable.

Thank you, that is what I had assumed as well.
Which SFP is it though? Link 1 refers to the first SFP or what?
