  • 1.  assigning rstp modes to ports

    On an ex4500 switch i would like to assign a select few ports as participants in rstp (uplinks to other switches) whilst setting all other ports as edge. Does precedence in the commands allow me to have

     

    set protocols rstp interface all edge

     

    And then have the following be exceptions?

     

    set protocols rstp interface uplink-ports mode point-to-point

    Yes. Interface specific commands will override the interface all commands.
