  • 1.  ex4200 dual boot?

    I had an incident recently where a stack member became inactive. Investigation indicated it was running an older software version than the rest of the stack. I know all members were running the same version previously.  Do ex4200 switches have dual boot partitions? If so, what is the process to clone the running image (software and config) onto the alternate?

    Yes, dual partition is supported on EX platforms, but you would have to run at least 10.4R3.

     

    Also, you need to install the jloader that enables this feature.
