Broadband World Forum (BBWF) is back in town – October 16-18, in Amsterdam, Netherlands!
Juniper Networks will be on stand E26, showcasing our recently-announced breakthrough product set (software and hardware) that will enable service providers to deliver and expand new consumer and business services rapidly at a rate up to 69 percent faster[1] than other market solutions[2]. This acceleration means they
can ride the huge wave of demand being created by mobile and cloud capabilities and create revenue-generating new services, but without needing to replace existing network infrastructure. A real win-win for providers and users – and a perfect match for BBWF’s strap-line this year, “Driving Service Transformation to Satisfy the Connected Consumer”.
The new set of software and hardware products run on the Juniper Networks® MX Series 3D Universal Edge Router, currently deployed by more than 2,200 customers worldwide, allowing the network edge to serve as a simple, single platform for everything the network has to offer. With this architecture, service providers will be able to deliver new consumer and business value-added services, such as multi-screen video, digital advertising, and advanced virtualization software. It’s all about simplicity, speed and scale empowering service providers to walk away from the legacy approach in their network.
Speaking Slot @BBWF: Converged Core
A particular highlight of BBWF 2012 for us will be a theater presentation from Hans-Juergen Schmidtke, chief architect, converged core at Juniper. Tuesday October 16 at 3.20pm CET Hans-Juergen will present on “Converged Supercore: The Benefits of an Innovative Architecture”. If you’re attending BBWF, please do try to make this session.
We will also have a number of executives at the event, talking to customers, reporters and industry analysts about the monetization of the service provider network through our solutions – if you’re interested in meeting Juniper next week, please contact me at pstill@juniper.net to arrange a time slot.
I – and many of my colleagues – will be blogging throughout the event #BBWF, so if you can’t be in Amsterdam, you can follow the conversation.
Before you go, take a look at the some of the resources we’ve prepared to support the recently-launched solutions:
