I'm Emerson, born in the capital city of the northeast of Brazil named Teresina in the state of Piauí. Since i was a kid i've always been passionate about technology (as well as fast cars, music, airplanes, etc). While a kid i dreamed about being an air force pilot or an F1-pilot i loved so much them both) The first one was a bit easier to acomplish but i had an accident on my left eye and was disqualified from being an airforce's airplane pilot. Life goes on. I love music, i play the drums since i was 10 years old, and also a bit of guitar, i've recently bought a new set of drums after not having one for almost 10 years (due to university studying, working etc), but this year i decided to get back to the magical world of music again, just for fun, surely.

I became certified to improve my networking techniques as well as getting more prepared and have a stronger exposure to the IT market, and Juniper ,in my opinion, would provide me with that because has being doing a great work to become one of the best network players on the market through its innovative technologies and solutions.

I want to become certified for the great reason of reaching out to the top of Juniper's certification program, wich by the way, has been recently updated and reviewed for the better, i think. So, i want toget this voucher for the new pyramid basis (JNCIA JUNOS) and scale ans study to reach at the top and remain there, definetly will make of me a very diffrentiated professional.

I'm a network engineer in one of the Indonesia ISP since 2001. Since the begin we are one of the Cisco fans. Every equitment that we have is Cisco from Core to distribution layer. Until 2008 we deciced to use Juniper M10i for our Core router. This because we stable and reliable router for our core . And we also tried to use EX4200. After this I;m know that Juniper also offer a good solution .

I had take CJNR , AJNR and AVPN course. By end of this month i will take JN0-340 exam . And i will go for JNCIP if there is sponsor / free voucher.

I am Raheel, a Network Engineer from Pakistan. Since the day I punched the connectors to make my first cross-over cable to connect my 2 PC's, I knew that Network Engineering is going to be my profession in life.

Initially in my career I was not into certifications and was more interested in breaking/fixing and tweaking Networks.

My first job was in an Enterprise where everything was Cisco. At that time One of my co-workers was preparing for the CCNA exam and when he passed he became a hero amongst our team of Network Engineers. Everybody started to give him more respect and listened to what he had to say.

That got me going towards the world of certifications. I passed CCNA and moved my way up to CCNP. Last year I switched my job because I wanted to work for a service provider and here was the first time that I got a hands on Juniper products.

I like Juniper more than any other vendor because Juniper products give you more features in one box than any other vendor. For example recently we were testing for MPLS and we were surprised that even a J-series box gives you all of L2VPN, L3VPN and even VPLS whereas Alcatel's 7705 doesn't have builtin support for some of these features.  

The Juniper Certifcation Fast Track promotion helped me to get my JNCIA-ER, JNCIA-EX and JNCIA-Junos certifications. I want to get to the top level i.e. JNCIE and my next aim is to get the JNCIS-SP certification. I'd love to get a free voucher for that.

Omer here. When I was a child I wanted to be a business man, but when I was a junior in high school I really felt drawn to network engineering.

 Now am a network Engineer. I work for a Telecom Company in Pakistan, and it's really cool. I get to use my IT skills to support my clients and collegues. it is really great to make a difference like that.

 I have a Master degree in Computer Sciences. I have my  JNCIA, JNCISA in Routing , Switching & Junos. I'm working on my JNCIS-M/T and the goal is to have JNCIE in Enterprise & Firewall by the end of 2011. They helped me master the skills that I use every day in my job. I also get to teach those skills to upcoming engineers and that puts a smile on my face.

I really enjoy electronics and I believe it will shape our future. I've been in IT for about 6 years now.

I am really excited about learning more about SRX and I look forward to getting my JNCIE-FW next year.  I believe in myself to achieve it.  I am really proud of my Juniper Career.  It is a really diverse certification and I wish I used a wider range of skills from that certification.

I think the ability to collaborate with engineers from all over the place is really cool. When you collaborate you always get someone else's opinion or perspective and only good things can come from that (mostly!)

I REALLY recommend Juniper press! I always enjoy using the Juniper Forum & tutorials.

I would always encourage people to continue learning and really DIVE into technologies. There will be people here on this community to help you understand where you don't. If you show initiative, you will succeed. The only bad questions are those not asked.

Hi, My name is Christophe and I've got Cisco CCNA and CCNP certification about 10 years ago... Since few months I've started to learn for JNCIA-EX and JNCIA-ER because I have already a strong routing and switching background and I really like Juniper products and JunOS. One single CLI language for all the products! I think Cisco can only dream of it. I attempted the two exams but failed for few points due to a lack of knowledge of the WebUI... :-( I'd lie to take this offer as an opportunity to retake those two exams and pass them!

I have CCNA certification before but when I worked as internship student for a System Integrated company, in a project for a Malaysia bank, my supervisor called me and said that “Do you think that you can configure this Juniper Firewall?”, I said “Yes”, he said “Okay, let’s read the configuration guide of Juniper SSG550 Firewall and work with them tomorrow”. I realize that Juniper Firewall so robust, safe. They have many features and easy for configuring and managing. Talking about certification is very, very difficult, first, because you need study a lot to understand one technology and secound about the difference between devices, but, some times, you can choose a wrong technology, or worse, choose a bad vendor, and then, every thing you do is lost, in this case, your time, your patience and your good time with your family.

Choose a vendor is very important to success, of course because they have technology and knowledge about market with you work, in this case, Juniper have both: high tecnology and very good knowledge about the market.

Some vendor just copy what other doeing, i think the Juniper can create new steps to technology and above all development new concept and new devices.

I what to work with a company which I light farther and give me other perspective about my bussiness.

If i want to go another place, i need help, and my certification is a good proof to my career.

There was a teacher who knows all answers for my sill questions. After finish my IT study, i start working with that guy. He show me that ISO is not so friendly as Junos can be. I started my career by certification in Cisco CCNA and then I get opportunity to study about the juniper security devices along with my working based on Cisco devices and recently I get certification in JNCIA –JUNOS.

My first career started in an Enterprise where Cisco as well as juniper devices. At that time two of my co-workers were preparing for the juniper certification and when they certified in juniper that motivates me to be certified in juniper when they became a hero amongst our team of Network professional. Everybody started to give them more respect and listened to what they had to say

All that got me going towards the world of certifications. I certified JNCIA-JUNOS and want to move my way up to higher level of certification. I am an engineer working on various networking projects for my company. I became interested in being certified because the project I was working on selected Juniper products. Since I received my first JNCIA cert I have been studying to get hte next level. I think certification is a really good way to ensure that network engineers who select and integrate products have sufficient knowledge to be competent when solving problems in the factory and in the field. Since I became certified, I have encouraged all my colleagues to become certified. This has been a good thing.

My certification story has been a remarkable turn around to the path I had wanted to inbark on when I was in university. To me certification meant Microsoft. i was always studying for MCSE modules. It wasnt until my final year 3 years ago when I joined a local ISP as an intern Help desk tech that I got introduced to networking certifications.
As my role in the company increased with me becoming full time, the need for me to actually certify became apparent and my 1st  like most people was CCNA. Once I got my CCNA I was hooked and immediately started working towards my CCNP.
While enroute to my 1st ccnp exam, someone at work mentioned juniper and the fact that the ompany wanted to change the core of the network to Juniper. I only looked into juniper with the intention of just looking but I got hooked. Next thing I know I was attending Junos summer school, writting my 1st Junos Enterprise exam and attending instructor led courses for the M series route. So far my pit stop has been the JNCIS-ER but only to refuel and check tyre pressure.

I am Pragnesh and I am working as network engineer in one of the leading system integrators in UAE. I had completed my CCNA and was moving forward with my daily responsibilities. One day my friend called me up and asked would you like to give a juniper exam for free. Although I was in half mind I still nodded as I thought atleast I can say others that I can work in multi vendor platforms. I was very happy to get my first juniper certifications before my seniors could do.

One fine day I came to know that my job was on stake and it was almost certain that I will be losing my job and I will have to go back to my home country. That was the sad part and even my seniors could not help it. I am a Network Engineer for a local government entity.  We recently made the decision to move toward Juniper switching platforms on our backbone infrastructure. Once we made that decision, I made the choice that I wanted to be recognized as a “professional” within the organization by obtaining the JNCIA-EX certification through the Fast Track Program.

 I feel as though the free resources that Juniper offers is what allowed me to be able to take that step to get the certification, whereas I probably wouldn’t have done so if left solely on my own.  Other certifications I have obtained were obtained only after attending an in-person or remote training of some kind.  The free training offered by Juniper is great if one is not able to pay to take a class.  I want to obtain another certification as a personal challenge and to also recognize my diverse skill set.

I am a network security engineer . I have a deep knowledge on NetScreen products because I have work with these products for about 8 years. My knowledge is really deep in area of the ScreenOS software and related hardware. I was also certified on SSL VPN and IDP. Now is the time to start conversion the Juniper Networks / NetScreen certificates into proprietary Juniper Networks certification (JUNOS). The SRX line is getting started to replace the SSG and NetScreen line of the products, so it is the high time to get prepared and certified for the new line. I am Waqas, a Network & Security Engineer from Pakistan with four years professional experience.

I have a bachelor degree in Computer Science. When I came out of the university, I have  done trainings on some CISCO courses like CCNA and CCNP to enter in a job market of Networking Professionals. But when I join my 1st company as a Trainee Network Engineer, I saw that there were no CISCO products... They are using Juniper’s M series and J series routers and ISG and SSG series Firewalls and now they are also using Juniper’s EX3200 and EX4200 Switches and SRX Products.

This situation is makes me uncomfortable and I thought Juniper language (JunOS) is very hard to learn because I have a CISCO background and Juniper terminologies and syntax are far different from Cisco. But when I start learning JunOS language I start loving Juniper products because Juniper give me more features in one box than any other vendor. At that time, Juniper just started their FAST TRACK program and it helps me very much to get certified in Juniper. I got lot of advantage from this FAST TRACK program because Study Guides and Lab Guides are available freely on Fast Track website. First I got certification in Routing and Switching (ER/EX Tracks). Then after some time I realize that they are not enough if I wanted to have a bright career and a top level job I must have to do more certification. Then I started to study Juniper firewalls and about M series Enterprise routers. Now I am JNCIA/JNCIS in both FWV and M series Track but my goal is to get certification of JNCIP/JNCIE.JNCIS-SP.

I found Juniper products highly technological, robust and meet the requirements of enterprise/medium/small level networks. I recommend Juniper products for all the IT organizations if they wanted to make highly robust network.

I love to get a free voucher of JNCIP or JNCIE or JNCIS-SP exam. It’s like a dream for me to get JNCIP or JNCIE certification.

Hello this is Agha Shabbir from Pakistan, working as a Pre-Sales/Solution design Engineer. Though Juniper is known in the market for its products & competency specifically in routing (to which I have been more inclined towards since I started studying Juniper back when I started out my job), still no one would go for Junos certifications, the fast track program gave an exponential turn over to Junos certs resulting in Junos biasing & mind sets within the market. I also stand among the many who fallen prey to this strategy. After graduating from university I couldn’t afford 250$ base level certs as it’s pretty much a heavy amount here in Pakistan hence I went for cheap trainings offered for the same certs, that gave me good level of knowledge & understanding, ultimately landing me to a job where I am. Yet still I didn’t have enough courage to spend $250 on a base level cert. Juniper when aggressively launched fast track program, I got attracted to it like north & south magnetic poles do, and now today I stand proudly with 5 Juniper certifications! That is what makes me Juniper biased, it offered something to me that no one ever did! Free certifications I could just dream of! I now look forward to more studying more Juniper and work with service provider end Juniper equipment, I am currently looking forward to have JNCIE-ER & Junos service provider track credentials in my profile.

I am a network Support Engineer who is qualified in many security products such as Juniper, CheckPoint, F5, and Cisco. After working with many solutions for SSL VPNs, I can say with confidence that the Juniper IVE product is one of the best in the industry. I have recently passed the JNCIA-SSL and would like to obtain the JNCIS-SSL to further dive into all the many aspects that I have heard of, but haven’t had the chance to fully comprehend. As I support the Juniper IVE product, I would like to continue to support this product well and explain recommended configuration examples for our valued clients. I'm an IT of a bank in Singapore, my role is monitoring security devices. We are using 02 Juniper firewalls, 02 Fortinet firewalls and 02 Checkpoint firewall in order to protect our data center.
Of course we are very pleased with the Juniper equipment. Beside using them as firewalls, we run VPN SSL on them. So I concluded: "Juniper= robust + safe".

 I  am a network security engineer . I have 4 years of experience  in Juniper Netscreen Firewalls, and other Juniper security products. When Juniper introduced security solution based on very good a Juniper operating system called JUNOS – well known, and respected in area of routing I decided to develop my knowledge about  this technology especially in security area. The best motivation to study for me is to schedule an exam. In my company we are currently implementing new SRX firewalls so I have to study a lot about this products. I think that because of stability, easy management and functionality Juniper SRX Firewalls becomes standard security solutions in many companies.  I am currently holding JNCIA-EX and JNCIA-JUNOS certificates, and I am going to pass next exams very soon.

I am doing a job in Qadrigroup as network administrator I am Cisco CCNA Certified Microsoft MCP MCTS MCITP Certified and JNCIA JNCIS Certified I use the cisco product and juniper product I found a big difference between them Juniper have a very strong operating system and easy to configure and I believe if juniper management open some academy and training center in different country this would be very much help full to promote the very well product I have a advice to you please come in my country and give us an opportunity to work with a great work at the end I just want to say that I love juniper

I am working as network engineer  and have almost 4 years of experience, have come across several vendors but Juniper is emerging as a strong contender to all larger maret share holders. I have worked on Juniper E-series routers which is quite a strong product, with very good OS features & configuring options. I got Junos certified first last year with fast track certification program, which I got know about through my social network, unfortunately I got know about it in the last few days so I could just give one associate certification, this year I gave all the certs available. I now want to get certified in E-series routing platform and then move up consistently to the top of i.e. JNCIE in the E series track, this is because I know Juniper is working aggressively towards generating a greater market share and will have a very strong presence in the market very soon.

I'm Steven, IT Manager of PVID Gas in Singapore. We have selected Juniper equipment solutions for our new systems; including routers, switches and firewalls.
Previously I worked for a SI company as a network engineer, so I did not hesitate when selecting the contractors offered Juniper solutions for this new system that I remind above.
I believe that all equipments will work well.

In last year I passed JNCIA-Junos and now I want to get a free voucher in order to reach JNCIS-SP or JNCIS-ENT certificates and upper level in the future.

With the present approach Juniper will capture the market sooner with good equipment & lower price against other competitors are positive towards Juniper I want to go towards JNCIS-FWV & JNCIS-SSL.

Appologies for my last comment! I extremely sorry but that was a mistake! I hope you understand! my story is as below

I am working as a network operations engineer, in an ISP, where we are having different a heterogeneous network with having equipment from different vendors to make up our network. During my tenure of almost 3 years experience I have worked on almost on all routers from different vendors, may it be where I work or a short term project, I do not know about switches or security portfolio of juniper, but the routing platform is one of the strongest. I got JNCIS-ER through fast track promo and now I look forward towards JNCIE in Service Provider & E series track.

I have been working as a network administrator since 2005, have worked in different environments & managed different data centers. Have had a good experience with juniper switches and routers and after working on them and getting certified on routers, I have got more interest in studying them and getting more hands-on on them. I got JNCIS-ER through fast track program but unfortunately I got to know about it in the last days of the promotion so I could not get JNCIA-EX certified, now I want to achieve JNCIA-EX and have more hands-on on Juniper switches, I hope juniper introduces specialist level in switching track as well.

I am working as systems security consultant, and now want to start concentrating over network security as well. I have done penetration testing of several networks and secured the same networks, Juniper firewalls are much easier to configure than other firewalls and I recommend them to all my clients.. I many relevant security certifications but I got Juniper’s certification after the introduction of fast track promotion, I have JNCIS-SEC and I want to have JNCIS-FVW. I have found Juniper with a pretty different approach in the technology as well as marketing. I see Juniper as a next big giant in IT.

Working as a trainee engineer in core networks dept., The first certification I got in my life was Juniper till date I am certified in all Juniper fast track exams, which I am sure will be tremendously helpful in my professional career, and which have helped me with getting a very good understanding of the networks, and for future I plan to work & get expertise on Juniper products, because I started out my career working on Juniper and getting certified in Juniper I look forward to stick to Juniper for the rest of my career since it has made me love it! I want to work towards expert level certifications in service provider track.
