Junos Space upgrade from 11.4 to 12.1

Hello!

 

I have Junos Space J1500 appliance with Junos Space 11.4 installed on. I've downloaded 12.1 Junos Space Application Platform and other 12.1 applications. My question is: Do I also need to download image for hardware appliance 12.1 and then install the upgrade for hardware appliance in order to upgrade Platform to 12.1 or is that not necessary (I can upgrade Platform from 11.4 to 12.1 without upgrading the appliance)?

Hi Tia, There is no need to upgrade the appliance. Just upgrade the Platform. Regards Yesh
