    Hi all,

    I'm looking for information about the hardware of E320 with respect the bandwith slot or group bandwith slot, for example into 1410, there are 4 group bandwith, where the bandwith of the group are shared between the slots.

    In E320, are there any information about the distribution of the bandwidth?

    Thanks in advances,

    David.

    Firstly, you need to be aware that there was a 100G version of the E320, which can be upgraded to a full 320G E320 by replacing the five central SRP/SF modules. There is also an E120 in the series (basically a half size E320, with blades mounted horizontally)

    I am assuming that you have (or are investigating) the E320 with 320G fabric, so as per:-

    http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/hardware/erx/junose91/hw-e120-e320-module-guide/lm-10-uplink-line-module.html#lm-10-uplink

    • The 100–Gbps switch fabric allocates 3.4 Gbps of overall bandwidth to each regular line module slot and 10 Gbps of overall bandwidth to each of the turbo slots (slot 2 and slot 4).
    • The 120–Gbps and 320–Gbps switch fabrics allocate 10 Gbps of overall bandwidth to each line module slot.
    • See JUNOSe System Basics Configuration Guide, Chapter 6, Managing Modules for more information.

     best regards

    I am on a project regarding some work on E320s and ERX1440s. Everything that I have been given configuration-wise is in Cisco format. I wanted to verify that I'm going to have to convert the configs to JUNOS Syntax, or do these boxes actually accept Cisco's command syntax?

    For example this is one of the config statements that I was given for the E320/ERX1440...

    config t

    ip route 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 {%DRN-NEXT-HOP%}
