  • 1.  EX2200 JUNOS Console Won't Prompt for Password after entering Login

    Hi Everyone,

     

    This is extremely weird. I'm having some issues with a switch of ours and I tried to login through the serial console. I'm getting the login prompt, but am not getting the password prompt after entering the username. Anyone experienced this before?

     

    Prompt is as follows:

     

    ---------------------------------

    Amnesiac (ttyu0)

     

    login: root

     

    Amnesiac (ttyu0)

     

    login:

    ---------------------------------

     

    It just goes back to prompting me for my login.

    Decided to do a password recovery instead and reinstate the configuration as instructed here:
