    What is that error?  Do you know anything?

    Do you get this error during any show command for interface statistics

    I've examined logs and found the problem, when i plug new sfp+ to device and if there is any defination in the port configuration. We are seeing that error.

    zz@host-1# show interfaces xe-0/0/4

    run show log messages| last

     

    Sep 12 19:31:47  host-1 member0-fpc0 Error: ipv4 irb_table fetch fail for ifl(0) vlan(0)

    if we don't want to see that error, before the spf plug we have to set  inet or ethernet-switching definition at the port.

     

    set interfaces xe-0/0/4 unit 0 family ethernet-switching
