  • 1.  Is there an "alias" option in JUNOS?

    Hi All,

     

    Having used "alias" for years in Cisco, I was wondering whether we have the same in JUNOS?

    The command being:

    set alias <alias-name> <long-command>
    Example:

    set alias bgp "show bgp summary"

     

    Please help.

    Hi Sunak,

    Right now we do not have this feature but you can use the op scripts to achieve the same result;

    Thanks for responding. I'll try this out.

     

    Was wondering why such an useful command [very useful for customers and customer support too] is not available on JUNOS.
