  • 1.  J-Flow Licenses for J-Series?

    Hi All,

     

    I have a pair of J-4350s running 9.0R1.10 - they've worked very well since installation, so I haven't seen a need to update the firmware.

     

    I now have a requirement to enable J-Flow. I understand it used to be necessary to license this feature, but can't seem to find these available anymore.

     

    There are also suggestions elsewhere on these forums that this is now free.

     

    Are licenses still required? If not, when did this change? Are there requirements to be running a particular release of the software?

    Hello there,

     

    AFAIK, JFlow License for J-Series  is only required pre JUNOS 9.5 and the license restriction has been lifted from 9.5 onwards.

    So if You want a free Jflow license You'd have to upgrade.

    This is exactly right - looks like I have an upgrade to the latest JunOS to start planning 🙂
