    I have a J2320 Router,

I am having issues upgrading it, it currently has 9.4/R 9.5R

I am trying to install junos-jsr-10.1R1.8-domestic.tgz through J-Web and its been sat here for over an hour now.

Installation of software package junos-jsr-10.1R1.8-domestic.tgz is underway.

    Installation Progress
    finished Receive Package File
    pending Validate Package File
    pending Check Configuration Compatibility
    pending Install Package
    pending Reboot

I have logged out of J-Web and logged back in and the same thing is displayed in the package.

    Ideas?

    Hi

Could you try to upgrade via CLI using below command and check if it succeeds?

    request system software add /var/tmp/package_name no-copy no-validate

    Regards,

    Raveen

The above did work - It turned out to be a gui bug.

    to help others i used

    mount_msdosfs /dev/da0s5 /var/tmp/usb

(da0s5, being your usb drive/ partition)

    I then used

    request system software add /var/tmp/usb/jpackage_name no-copy no-validate

    Thanks Raveen:)
