  • 1.  MX 10.4R8 filter inpust-list counter

    Dear All,

     

    this is my question:

     

    why a counters on FFs applyed as input-list doesn't show their increment when I do show firewall filter NAME_FF?

    Hi.

    It can be because there is no coincidence in the filter.

     

    Whether there is an increase in counters if to apply in the input direction only one of filters entering into input-list ?

     

    Show please your contents of firewall family inet filter NAME_FF

    Hi Aleksandr,
    I'm sure that the filters in the input-list are working because our company costumer services are up and running.
    In the input-list I have 3 ff with 2 terms with then action and count for each term and just the ff has its last term with then accept.
    I hope I'm clear now.
    When I do show firewall filter ff_name all the counters are zero.

    Is it a software bug? My release is 10.4R8

    Use filters of the Interface-Specific type or not?

    I've fixed by using interface-specific option under firewall family inet filter FBF-NAME.
