    Hello,

I can see in the trace logs that ae1.303 is not seeing self in neighbor Hello packet

Oct 10 04:29:14.267329 OSPF neighbor 10.2.0.3 (ae1.303 area 0.0.0.0) state changed from Full to Init due to 1WayRcvd (event reason: neighbor is in one-way mode) (nbr helped: 0)

This could be because 10.2.0.3 is not receiving Hello from ae1.303.

    Please check if:

1/ light level on the fiber link (if ae1 is using fiber) are above warning threshold

    2/ cable is OK

3/ CRC errors are not incrementing on remote side of ae1.

Just last week I spent 2 days t'shooting dirty cable and low light levels on 10GE AggEth link causing BGP to lose packets and constantly retransmit.

    HTH

    Rgds

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

issue has been resolved by upgrading Switch firmware at remote end.

issue was due to LSA drop that was not reaching remote end routers due to switch firmware issue.

    thanks for your valuable points.

    Regards
