  • 1.  Upgrade JUNOS on RE1 - M10i

    We upgraded JUNOS on our M10i - not ISSU. Only the Routing Engine 0 got upgraded and RE1 is still on the old version. We want to upgrade the RE1 now. How do I copy the image to RE1? Image can be seen in /var/tmp from RE0 but not in RE1.

     

    Tried doing a file copy to RE1 using root account, but I get the below error message:

     

    file copy /var/tmp/jinstall-10.0R4.7-export-signed.tgz re1/var/tmp/
    cp: directory re1/var/tmp does not exist
    error: put-file failed
    error: could not send local copy of file

    Appreciate your help on this.

    Figured it out - From RE0, the below command will push the package to RE1:

     

    >request system software add re1 /var/tmp/jinstall-10.0R4.7-export-signed.tgz
