Hasan - routing policies do not require terms - you may have a policy that that simply performs a match / action with no term or you may have a policy that performs multiple match / actions which would require terms.

As for a route filter it is used to match individual routes within a policy - you specify the route filter syntax and a match condition - IE - route-filter 1.1.1.1/24 orlonger (you can have multiple route filters within a single policy / term

This differs from a prefix list which is simply a list of IP prefix values that must match exactly.

    a. Every policy must contain at least one term

    b. Terms are optional.

I think if not correct but best answer is a. Every policy must contain at least one term

    b. Terms are optional.  REMEMBER , A TERM ( SINGLE) is optional , NOT TERMS

term or terms are optional, but you cant create a policy without terms and without an action. So term/s are optional, but then default action is mandatory. If you configure a single term, default action is optional, but for default this is an accept.

Only need to configure the following to create a policy, set policy-options policy-statement TEST then accept.

This will set the default action for this policy, for every traffic.

The answer to number 1 is a. Every policy needs at least one term. This is assuming you are referencing something like a policy-statement.

IE policy-statement "NAME" term "TERM_NAME" either a then action or a from action.

    As mentioned 2 is b.

    Good luck

About the routing policy mutbarker is correct, dclarkjr1122 isn't. You don't have to use terms in a routing policy. just one from/then pair is allowed. The correct answer on question 2 is b as both said.
