interface-transmit-statistics on MX5 - "knob not supported on this hardware. will have no effect"

    Information on the interface-transmit-statistics documentation states it is supported on MX platofrm running 11.4R7, but when i try on MX5 , i get the error below in the messages log  

     

    i tried to enable on ge-1/0/9 

     

    dcd[1346]: Interface-Transmit-Statistics Knob not supported on this hardware. Will have no effect

     

    anyone have any infromation on this please ?

    According to the Juniper documentation:

     

    Note: This configuration is supported only on Enhanced Queuing Dense Port Concentrators (DPCs) and Enhanced IQ (IQE) PICs of MX Series routers.

     

    Since your MX5 is using a trio-based MPC, this feature would not be applicable.
