  • 1.  monitor traffic matching command

    Hi guys! 

    I Have 2 Juniper EX4200 switches and one MX10. When I use command

    monitor traffic count 10 matching "dst 10.149.1.1" on my EX4200 Junos 12.2R2.4. It works.

     

    When I use it on other EX with Junos 11.4R7.5; or on MX10 Junos 12.1R5.5 it doesn't work!! 

    juniper@SW1> monitor traffic count 10 matching "dst 10.149.1.1" 

    no suitable device found 

     

    What could be the problem ?

    Some platforms take default interface like me0 or ge-0/0/0. I don't think MX does the same. Specify interface in the command.
