  • 1.  "set cli prompt ..." - not persistent after logout and re-login ?

    Hi All,

Surprisingly - the "set cli prompt ..." does not seem to be persistent : the default prompt ("user@hostname>") is back after logout and new login in cli operational mode.

Any idea for make it persistent even after logout and new login ?

NB : Tested on vMX 14.1R5.4-1.

    Thanks for your help,

    SB.

    No it is not persistent.

And there is no .clirc or .clilogin/.cliprofile file to make it persistent. Please have Your account team to open an Enhancement Request if You absolutely require it.

Presonally I use terminal program which can auto-output commands after each login. I.e. in SecureCRT, this is automated via "Logon Actions":

    - receive ">", send "set cli timestamp"

    - receive "timestamp set to", send "something else"

    - receive "tokenX", send "commandY"

    - ad infinitum 🙂

Freeware Putty Connection Manager can  do it as well.

    Thx
