    need some clarification on route filters using the 'upto' command

     

    Will the router filter below allow /24 prefixs?

     

    route-filter 10.0.0.0/8 upto /24

    The 'upto' filter is inclusive, so yes the filter will match on 10.x.x/24 prefixes.

    Hi,

     

    Yes, the above route-filter would match /24 prefixes also.

     

    In "upto" match type in route filter, first would be the starting prefix length while the second would be the ending prefix (inclusive).
