  • 1.  testing radius server authentication

    Hi all,

     

    With the 'test access radius-server xx.xx.xx.xx source-address yy.yy.yy.yy user johndoe password password secret $secret$' I am supposed to get output saying that the authentication test succeeded or failed, but the output is empty.

     

    Is this the way to do it or is there another way?

    which device are you using? This is not supported on SRX.

    Even MX dont support. Currently supported on EX and TX.

    Thanks rsuraj. Although this doesn't help me debugging my subscriber management issues, I know I don't have to look into this area 🙂

    Have a look at the debug trace options setup on page 26 and following in the Day One: Dynamic subscriber Management book.  For your particular case the log for  general-authentication-service would probably give you the data you are looking for.
