  • 1.  Device name change in Junos Space 12.3R1.3

    Running Space 12.3R1.3, virtual edition

     

    I had a name incorrect on a device during discovery.  There is a - instead of the desired _.  Is there a way to change the device name in Space?  I have updated the hostname of the switch in question and tried an Admin rescan and a "Resync with the network" without success.

     

    I understand that I can delete the device and rediscover, but it appears that I will lose all of the monitors and collection settings.

     

    Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated.

    Found my own answer.  🙂

     

    From Network Monitoring -> Node List -> node -> admin

     

    under the Admin options, select Change Node Label

     

    Under my nose, just couldn't find something to get me there.  Hope this helps others.
