    Dear all, Im looking for an especific packet entering my network.

    Im used to do "tcpdump -i ethx host x.x.x.x -qnvv" on my linux servers.

    Is there something similar on my junos? dpi ? at least layer-3 filtering?,

    Anything would be great, TXKS.

    Try 

     

    juniper@SRX-1> monitor traffic interface ge-0/0/0 extensive matching ?
    Possible completions:
    <matching> Expression for headers of receive packets to match

    According to other posts .. it is impossible , juniper only will show the packets generated bye him self.

    I will work on the port-mirror and external analizer solution.

    Hi,

     

    Yes, CLI mentioned only capture the packet destined to the interface, transit traffic can't be captured by monitoer CLI.
