  • 1.  How to get the Device ID of NSM

    Hi All,

     

     

     

    I am trying to add a SA 2500 to NSM express. During  the course it is asking to enter the device id of NSM. Please guide me how to get the NSM device id .

    The device ID comes from NSM. On NSM you select the "New Device" add screen and then select the "Device is Not Reachable" option. You will fill in the options such as device name, OS (SA), platform (SA2500) and version. When you advance to the next screen the Device ID will be created along with an set of instructions for continuing the process.

    Is there any way we can access NSM using SSL ? how we will install Client UI ? , Virtual Desktop can do this ?

    The NSM client is a "fat" client - you will need to use SAM or Network Connect.
