Installing Regional Server of NSMXpress 2008.2r2

We are successfully upgrade NSMXpress from 2007.3r1 to 2008.2r2. While installing Regional Server we face this error

Unknown flags: -niNBIPORT=8443 -niSTAGINGDIR=/var/tmp -niIGNORECHECK=n -niFIPSENABLED=n -niGUISVROTP= -niCFMPASSWORD=
Run '/var/install/NSM-RS --help' for a listing of command-line parameters

Kindly guide us to remove this error.

I have had the same problem on an NSMXpress upgrade from 2007 to 2010.

Same story here (also upgrading from 2007 to 2010). Anyone got resolution from JTAC or I'll have to open a case?

Same here. Anyone know if this ever got resolved, appreciate this is very late!! Not sure it makes an issue. far from a Unix expert let alone sub standard Unix user but looks as if it's referring to configuration settings that don't exist.

If you navigate to the folder in question you'll find it empty. really not sure if this is a "feature" or if there's something we need to do

i think you need to upgrade the regional server as well.

copy the nsm2008.1rn_servers_linux_x86.sh to the /var/install directory and enter the

following commands:

 rm -f NSM-RS

chmod 755 nsm2008.1rn_servers_linux_x86.sh

ln -s nsm2008.1rn_servers_linux_x86.sh NSM-RS

Install the Regional Server now..
