  • 1.  License Server Support for MAG

    My customer currently has an SA-6500 license server with the following licenses:

     

    Add 20000 simultaneous users to Junos Pulse Gateway X500 Series Appliances
    Manage license members

     

    It supports 52 SA-6500s worldwide.

     

    What is needed for this license server to support the new MAG 6611 devices they are deploying?  Can they add a new license to the existing server or do they need to purchase a MAG device to support the MAG hardware platform?

    Hello

     

    MAG devices can pull license from SA-6500 server, there should not be any issues.

    Thanks Raveen,

     

    Just to be clear the only thing that is needed is a member license on the MAG 6611 then the device will be authorized to pull licenses from the SA-6500 without the need for any new licenses on the License Server.
