    Hi,

     

    I m trying to install NSM 2007r3 on latest LInux 6.2 on 64 bit According to Juniper the minimum requirement for 2007r3 is RED HAT 32 Bit 4.0 with update 5, I m facing issues while installation but it does'nt look like for the platform, but i m in doubt for the platform,

     

    Do anybody have tried installing NSM 2007r3 on LINUX 6.2 64 bit ?????

    Perhaps this previous discussion about how to get around the 64 bit install on version 5 would also work in version 6.

    Hello,

     

    From the previous link i conclude that 64 bit Linux is not supported for NSM and also 64 bit Harware is not supported.

     

    The link is very good and knowledgeable but this solution are for personal home networking and not for corporate networking, so i will ask customer to purchase the LINUX 32 bit and 32 bit hardware machine.

    You are correct in your assesment.  The only officially supported platform is 32bit linux.  These are work arounds to allow the install onto the unsupported 64bit platform.

     

    The ideal would be to get a supported 32bit RHEL as the OS for the install.
