NSM 2011 install on CentOS 6

Hi ,

I am trying to install NSM 2011 on CentOS 6. I keep getting the below error. The only link that seems to have information on this , does not exsist any more: http://knol.google.com/k/juniper-hacks/installing-juniper-networks-nsm-network/1xqkuq3r2h459/44

I would like to the exact procedure to install NSM on CentOS. I uderstand that it is not supported by JTAC.

Thanks for your help.

I do not think that you can use CentOS 6.  From what I recall, CentOS 5 is the correct version to use.

Yup. RH-EL 4 and 5, which means, by extension, CentOS 4 and 5. It's just the OS for NSM - it's not like you're going to do anything else on that machine, or at least I'd hope you wouldn't. Which makes CentOS 6 kinda pointless. Although it is one more than 5.

Thank you very much. I will try it out with CentOS 4 or 5. I was thinking 5 and above should be supported.

Re: NSM 2011 install on CentOS 6

To pass the OS check you have to change the "/etc/redhat-release" file.
