  • 1.  STRM Network Import via CLI?

    Posted 09-17-2012 06:20

    Hello,

I am trying to set up our STRM and trying to find a way to import a huge list of networks, colours, weights etc.

I've found /store/configservices/staging/net.conf that has the details, though if I manually add them in there when I view the "Network Hierarchy" it doesnt show them in the tree on the left but does on the Right pane.

Does anyone know the best way to add a large batch of networks without doing them manually?

    Thanks,

    Peter

I've worked this out and seemingly you need to edit the net.conf and the netid.conf

note the netid.conf seems to be indexed with an incrementing number after the last tab space.

    eg

    netid.conf

    Name - Subnet - Colour - Retention - Weight - Index

    Company.Site.Zone.Name   10.0.0.0/27        #990000 2419200 85    114

    net.conf

    Name - Subnet - Colour - Retention - Weight

    Company.Site.Zone.Name   10.0.0.0/27        #990000 2419200 85

Hope this helps someone as support said "This isnt possible"
